Suren Manvelyan: Macro Photography

Suren Manvelyan a 40 year old photographer has a focus on animal eyes. This is an interesting and unique take on macro photography because no eye looks the same. Also, sometimes it is hard to tell the type of animal. Along with photography, MAnvelyan also is a  physics, mathematics, projective geometry and astronomy teacher. Something I can use from this photographer is his use of a common body party throughout his pictures. This adds a whole new element to his pictures and is a different take on a common project.

I love all of these photos because of how unique the eyes are. Each picture is so clear and full of color. In the second one, I particularly enjoy how you can see the cats eyelashes reflect on the eyeball.
