FRANCESCO TONELLI

Tonelli was born in the Marche region of Itlay and was raised in Milan. Starting at age 14, he worked as a chef across Europe and then went onto teach the culinary arts. He began shooting food to show his students what their dishes should look like and now has a photo studio in Manhattan that he opened in 2005 when he stopped teaching. He was never educated in photography. His passion for technology along with food drives his career.He draws his passion for food photography from a lifelong understanding of food.
